That's a Load of Scrap
by Jana Pihota
After years of projects, most knitters eventually accumulate a substantial load of leftover worsted weight yarn. We just can’t bear to throw it out. Well, shovel that rainbow load of scrap into this gratifying project for you or a gift and have some fun mixing and matching!
The blanket features a seed stitch border using a contrast yarn color on the top and bottom ends. The ripply pattern stitch used for the main blanket body is a 4-row repeat, featuring some strategic wrapped and slipped stitches. Nothing too complicated, and easily mastered by a knitter with high beginner to medium skills.
The 36” x 45” finished model size is only one suggestion. The blanket can easily be adjusted from baby blanket to large afghan-sized.
