The 4-0-1 was written after I knit my 400th pair of socks.

I hope you will be able to knit many well-fitting socks using this pattern.

What you will need:

• 1 skein of fingering weight yarn with roughly 400-420 meters per 100 grams

• 2.75 mm double pointed knitting needles OR needle size to get gauge

• tapestry needle
