Cowl Autumn is part of the Cowl series “The Four Seasons of Shetland”. They were inspired by the wonderful landscapes and incredible colors of Shetland. The colors in this cowl remind me of the peat hills overgrown by the beautiful fauna in bright autumn colors.

This cowl combines Fair Isle and Double Face knitting. But you could work it in Fair Isle only, but please note, than it will not be reversible.

Gauge
19 sts and 37 rnds per 10cm / 4”, worked in the rnd in double knitting, after blocking. Changes in gauge, while not crucial for the fit of the project, will result in size differences and affect the amount of yarn needed to complete the project.

Double Knitting: Two right sides are worked at the same time, using two different colors. Important to know: the charts show the front sides sts (MC) only, the back side sts (CC) are worked simultaneously.
