Cowl Summer is part of the Cowl series “The Four Seasons of Shetland”. They were inspired by the wonderful landscapes and incredible colors of Shetland.

This cowl combines Fair Isle and Double Face knitting. But you could work it in Fair Isle only, but please note, than it will not be reversible.

Gauge
19 sts and 37 rnds per 10cm / 4”, worked in the rnd in double knitting, after blocking.
Changes in gauge, while not crucial for the fit of the project, will result in size differences and affect the amount of yarn needed to complete the project.

Techniques Used
• Long tail cast on
• Circular Knitting
• Double Knitting: Front and back are worked at the same time, using two different colors.
Important to know: the charts show the front only, the back is worked simultaneously.
