You need to know basic crocheting stitches, have some previous crocheting experience, and be ready to concentrate and follow the chart! Great news is, as soon as you remember the pattern repeat, you will be able to continue without even consulting the chart or the text instructions :). The dimensions of the shawl (the widest part (along top edge) is about 120cm/47”, and the depth (from middle top edge to triangular peak) is about 66cm/26”) are given for 2 skeins of lace weight yarn and 2.5 mm crochet hook, though you can easily adjust the size by choosing a larger hook and thicker yarn and using more yarn.
