The Adenium Beanie RIOS
The Adenium Beanie is designed to be knit in worsted weight yarn.
This beanie mocks the look of cables, without the use of a cable needle. I used a lace knitting technique, but reversed the direction of the yarn overs to avoid eyelets.
This beanie is designed to have a slightly slouchy fit, and it can be knit as a single brim, as well as a folded double brim. The pretty stitch work resembles the look of an Adenium Desert Rose, so I thought the name was fitting. This design calls for 1 skein of the recommended worsted weight yarn, and is knit with US 6 and US 7 16” circular knitting needles.
Please ensure you are knitting your reverse yarn overs tightly to avoid the look of an eyelet!
This design fits the average adult female.
I hope you love it!
