A few months ago , Walmart had a huge clearance sale on yarn, particularly their Lion Brand Mandala – at only $1 each of course I had to buy well, ALL of them. That is how the Alexis was born. Of course, being the mom to a wonderful 4 year old I couldn’t possibly only design the hat for myself – I has to make it in a children’s size as well. (= Nothing makes me happier than when my little loves something I have made her & I must say – the Alexis definitely holds the key.
