Knit a beautiful and cozy shrug in every color of the rainbow! :)

This is a very easy pattern that can be knit by beginners.

You can either follow the given measurements or make a shrug in your own size using your shoulder width.

General construction
First you will knit a very large square and fold it in half. Then you will close the seams for the sleeves and add cuffs for the sleeve. Finally, you will add a cuff to the front of the shrug. That is all it takes!

You will need

  • 10mm (US 15) circular needles
  • about 600g (= 600m = 660 yard) of Olympia from Lana Grossa in colorway 007 (I used exactly 570g) or any bulky or super bulky yarn to obtain the right gauge
  • a tapestry needle or crochet hook to weave in the ends

Gauge
10 stitches and 20 rows in seed stitch = 10cm x 10cm (4” x 4”)
