Create a whimsical and fantastical AMANITA Crown for yourself with this 32 Page pattern and tutorial! This pattern includes a mixture of written instructions and photos.

25g additional aran yarn in greens/earth tones (for ferns)
20g red aran/worsted weight yarn
20g white or cream aran/worsted weight yarn
15g red DK yarn
15g white or cream DK yarn
<5g Sport weight or 4ply yarn in greens/earth tones
Optional: Moss yarns (suggestions for yarns to use to imitate moss are included in the pattern)

Required -
One 1 inch or 25mm wide plastic or metal plain headband of adult size
Small amount of Polyfill or similar lightweight toy stuffing

Recommended hooks - 4.5mm, 4mm and 3mm hooks (Optional: 2mm hook)

Notions - Yarn needle, stitch markers and measuring tape.

Optional -
Either eyeshadow OR alcohol-based fabric paint and paintbrushes/cotton buds (to colour and shade your final work)
Sewing pins (to aid assembly)

❉ Experience Level:
This pattern was written with intermediate crafters in mind. However, I believe that an adventurous beginner who likes a creative challenge would fair reasonably well with it! Please read my FAQ for more information on the experience level required for my patterns.

The individual components of the Amanita Crown, though fairly numerous, are not so difficult in of themselves.

I do not, however, explain how to work the basic crochet stitches used. You will need to know basic crochet stitches (including increase/decrease), how to work continuous rounds, work with a magic ring and how to read written crochet terms using a key.

❉ Sizing:
This pattern is one size fits all.

❉ Pattern Notes:
This pattern uses US Standard crochet terms.

❉ Usage:
You may absolutely sell anything you personally make from this pattern! This excludes mass production methods. According to creative seller best practices, I ask that you please credit myself, Whymsi Row, as the pattern designer and consider linking to my website www.whymsirow.com on your online item listing(s). Of course I cannot enforce this, but I do the same for my fellow creatives because it is a nice gesture and a sign of respect for one another’s work.
