When Janet, owner of String Theory Yarn Company which we do the knit along this pattern was designed for suggested I connect with Naima of Sister Ananse about yarn for the KAL I had no idea how right she was. Naima is a local dyer that I instantly connected with as a creative and lover of all sorts of fun media. I was so inspired by her energy and the two gorgeous colorways she designed for the KAL that I HAD to use her as my inspiration. Thus Ananse Socks were born. Featuring a textured zig-zag up the foot to mimic the movement a spider web can make. Then with the leg all over back and forth spiders appear just in time for the spooky season.
