The Ancient One, knitted portrait
A portrait knitted in ‘quilting style’, a technique that imitates quilting.
Skill level: advanced. Not because this picture is difficult. It is not. But it require focus when you change colors.
Need to know how to knit and purl, change and add colors, and how to read charts.
NOTE: the chart is rough (not cleaned up).
Yarns, needles and Gauge are NOT specified.
However, the picture is on distorted graph paper, and includes instructions for quilting style, and you can always contact me with any question - small or big.
Size: my finished picture was 19.5”x21” on needles #8US.
Additional materials:
For wall hanging - dowel
For mounting - foam board, and straight pins.
Optional: crochet a frame around, once the picture is done.
Not optional: courage. You can do it.
