When a dear friend of mine was invited to a baby shower for a new baby boy I was honored when she asked me to make something to bring. Typically I specialize in baby girl hats (mostly because myself and most of my friends are #GirlMoms). I was excited to have a baby boy to create something special for. After browsing Pinterest for a while I was inspired by a baby boy fedora – and so the Anthony Crochet Fedora was born.

After not being able to find a written pattern for a newborn fedora, I used my imagination to create the Anthony & I have to say I am not disappointed, I hope you will love this pattern as much as I do.

This hat makes a great addition to any baby shower gift & would also be a phenomenal prop for a newborn photography session. The bow is a simple half double crochet square cinched at the center with a simple slip stitch.
