No longer available on Blacker Yarns site so I put it here. This would work in any DK woollen/wool mix yarn - or guernsey 5 ply. I have no idea of yardage but have made these from leftovers of 100g balls of DK.
I lost the original chart on an old, defunct machine so this is one possible way it was done - feel free to mess around with the chart! There are any variants of flags. They were a common guernsey motif in the North of England and Scotland.
Errata: Once you have 47 sts on the needles, have dealt with the thumb, and are starting the fingers. Patt should read as on this page (text at bottom, in colour):
