The Arrow Headband
Can I tell you all just how much I ADORE arrow motifs? They’ve always been a sign of upcoming adventure and forward movement to me!
I’ve had this design in my to do list for what feels like forever… I’m so excited to share it! This pattern actually comes with TWO patterns included - one has instructions for making arrows that are more spaced out (the grey headband in the photos) or closer together (the mustard headband in the photos).
The pattern has been tested by wonderful knitters and is easy to read and understand - a basic knowledge of cabling (or willingness to google/youtube it) is necessary. It works up fast, and uses relatively little yarn. A 20” adult-sized headband takes just 90-100 yds.
It is ideal for worsted weight / Medium 4 weight yarns. Required needle size (US 6) and approximate yardage (~100 yds) are specified in the patterns. The headband is about 3” wide (enough to cover your ears!), and can be made any length to fit any head from babies through adults! Because it is worked flat and can be made any length, it can also be turned into a super cute mug cozy!
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions regarding the pattern or if you need help with it!
