The Artisan Bag is a stylish tote designed with artisans in mind (yes, you knitters!). The bag has 2 deep exterior pockets for tools (needles, brushes, pencils) and a spacious interior for a project/supplies.

The bag is knit in the round from the bottom up, with the pockets knit from stitches picked up on the sides of the bag (a pattern of purl bumps makes this easy to do). The bag can be felted in either a washing machine or a dryer.

Comprehensive instructions are provided for knitting, felting and shaping the bag.

MATERIALS

YARN: 10 skeins Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted; Color: Pumpkin; 1150 yds

NOTIONS: Scissors, tapestry needle, stitch markers, large toggle or button (the sample shows a 3.5 inch natural horn toggle: https://www.joycetrim.com/MAY-HB-70b555), two ¾” decorative buttons, fiberfill for shaping
