The Athena Cowl
Looking for a cozy winter make? The Athena Cowl uses bulky weight yarn to create the softest, fluffiest cowl ever!
I used Apricity Yarn for this make, and it made for such a comfy and cushy cowl. If you use Apricity Yarn, the yardages needed are 340 yards for C1 and 310 yards for C2. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll see the lovely designs from my testers and how color selection plays a role in how this pattern turns out. You can also extend this pattern easily to make it longer and more wide.
For this pattern, you will need the following:
2 different colors of bulky weight(CYC 5) yarn
C1 - 340 yards
C2 - 310 yards
10 mm (US P-15) Tunisian crochet hook with 16” to 22” cable and stopper (or hook to achieve gauge)
Tapestry needle
Scissors
1-2 Stitch markers (optional)
Blocking supplies
