Inspired by my amazing granny gang, I decided my best selling design, The Aubrey Beanie, needed a cowl to match.

The Aubrey Cowl, named after my eldest daughter, is a simple knit consisting of easy pattern repeats, beginner level cabling, and beautiful texture, to break up the cables.

Sized perfectly to fit an adult.

I chose to use the luxurious Malabrigo Rios held double stranded. This works up to be the perfect amount of bulk, softness and sturdiness, making this a staple on those chilly Fall/ Winter days.

Alternately, I have included instructions to make a single stranded, one skein wonder, using We Are Knitters Petite wool. That’s right… only one skein needed! Making this a super affordable neck warmer.
