The Autumn Acorn Blanket
Greetings from the Woods of New Hampshire!
The inspiration for this design came directly from the yarn! I chose unspun Nutiden wool by Honer och Eir in the beautiful colorway, “Virvan” (Swedish word for whirlwind). The light and airy nature of this wool makes it the perfect choice for blankets and throws.
You’ll enjoy watching your soft, fluffy pile grow as you crochet up each square. Assembling them all together at the end and adding a border is an enjoyable and mindful activity you are sure to cherish.
Happy crocheting!
MATERIALS:
Honer och Eir NUTIDEN WOOL (563 yards/515 meters, 4 ounces/100 grams, 100% Pure Unspun Wool): color, Virvan.
I used 5.5 plates or a total of 550 grams (3097 yards) of Nutiden wool for sample blanket.
You can use ANY DK or Worsted Wt yarn you like for this blanket; however, an unspun wool will give you the closest look to the sample blanket.

GAUGE:
13 sts (dc) + 8 rows (dc + bobble st) = 4” (10 cm) on size US 10/J (6 mm) crochet hook (blocked).
