The Aviva skirt is a made to measure and size inclusive pattern, this means you measure yourself and then follow the instructions.
The pattern is an advanced beginner level; however, the pattern contains very detailed steps, graphs and pictures throughout.
You will need any type of 4ply (fingering weight cotton) and a 3mm crochet hook and some elastic (size between 2-8mm) which will be placed in the waistline. I used roughly 1000m of yarn for the sample size which is a small (UK 8). I used stenli gradient cake for my skirt and I used exactly 1 cake, if you are doing larger sized and want to use a gradient yarn, I suggest getting 2-3 and changing the yarn at each colour change through the cakes.
