Create a whimsical and fantastical Bark Backpack for yourself with this highly detailed 17 Page pattern packed with photos, instructions and charts!

Your backpack will comprise of a tree stump base and rugged bark texture with leaf flap and strong, green straps. Instructions are then included for how to make mushrooms, leaves and moss to embellish your backpack.

❉ Supplies:
Yarn -
For the tree stump base: 25g light brown and 25g medium brown aran yarn
For the bark texture: 300g dark brown yarn
For the Leaf Flap: 25g mixed green aran yarn
For the Straps: 45g green aran yarn
For embellishments: DK and aran yarn scraps (less than 10g of each colour) in green tones, earth tones, red and white
Moss yarns (suggestions for yarns to use to imitate moss are included in the pattern)

Recommended hooks -
4, 5 and 6mm hooks are essential.
3.5, 4.5, 5.5mm hooks are advised, but the bigger hook sizes above can be used with tighter tension.
Notions - Yarn needle, stitch markers and measuring tape.
