The Basic Bonnet
Simple design yet so classic and elegant. The Basic Bonnet is knitted back and forth from the forehead towards the back. The back is knitted with short rows. After this, attached I-cord is knitted along the bottom edge of the bonnet.
The bonnet is knitted in the garter stitch pattern.
Available sizes:
0-3 months (14”-15” head circumference),
3-6 months (15”-16” head circumference),
6-12 months (16”-18” head circumference),
1-3 years (18”-19.5” head circumference).
Skill Level: Beginner/intermediate
Pattern includes Pdf files with video tutorials.
Craft: Knitting.
Suggested needles: Size 3 mm (U.S. size #2,5) needles.
Gauge: 22 sts/23 rows per 10 cm/4 inches
Suggested yarn: 30-40 g of any sport yarn weight (Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino, Merino Alpaca Sport by Cloudborn Fibers, Rowan Alpaca Soft DK)
