The Basilisk

Handle with caution and knit at your own risk!
Construction:
The socks are knit from the toe up in the round with two colors fingering yarn. The heel is a standard short-row heel with wrapped stitches.
This pattern has written instructions and large charts for the colorwork.
Sizes:
- size 1 (38/39): 66 stitches around foot, shaping to 74 st around leg
- size 2 (39/40): 72 stitches around foot, shaping to 80 st around leg
For this pattern it is assumed you know how to do stranded knitting, basic toe-up sock knitting and reading charts.
Pattern is written for circular needles, but DPN can be used.
The socks on the picture are size 1, and used 50 g green, 60 g black.
