Basketwoven, a shawl that uses my very favorite knitting stitch pattern: you guessed it, basketweave. It keeps my attention way better than straight up stockinette and it creates a yummy texture! ♥

Yarn? I used 100g (450 yards, 411 meters) of fingering weight but, according to my testers, any weight’ll work!
Needles? US size 2 (2.75 mm) or appropriate for your yarn.
Gauge? 8 stitches and 12 rows per 1 inch in stockinette or appropriate for your preferred fabric.
Skill Level? Adventurous beginner. You must be able to purl, knit, and m1. If you’re not totally sure about making 1, written instructions are included in the pattern.
Size? If you knit it at my gauge and perform 12 total repeats, your shawl will be 18 inches deep and have a wingspan of 42 inches.

Huge thank you to karinamaza, marjos, JStockert, knitree and my other wonderful testers! ♥
