The Bauble Bandana Cowl
Of all the styles of cowl available, I think bandana cowls are my favourite. The triangle shape is very flattering on just about everyone. Plus, by joining the top corners, it makes the back of the cowl less bulky.
I came across the Bead Stitch in my trusty Crochet Stitch Dictionary by Sarah Hazell. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to make something with this stitch! I love how it really does look like you’ve strung a bead into your work. The effect is quite stunning when you pair it with a yarn that has a bit of sheen, which is why I chose Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable for this pattern. I then made another in Caron Simply Soft. Both yarns turned out to be a perfect fit for this cowl.
The pdf version of this pattern includes photo tutorials for the Bead Stitch, Bead Picot Stitch, and working into the 3rd Loop.
