The Beach Hut Shawl is meant to give you a happy, cool knitting project with an interesting (yet easy-to-memorize) and summer-ish eyelet motif and some fun colorwork in stripes to help you relax for some rows between working those eyelet pattern repeats.
It is an “advanced beginner” friendly project, since the eyelet motif becomes obvious after a while and at the same time interesting enough for the veterans, in its own way: yes, there is a surprise element from one clue to the next, after all, it WAS a Mystery Knit Along, wasn’t it?
All you need is 3 colorways of a fingering weight yarn; I am knitting the prototype in soft and solid colors that make me feel cool in summer, but it is up to you to express your summer feelings by choosing the colors that inspire you the most.
