The Beaumaris Beanie
The Beaumaris Beanie is named after one of our favourite places to picnic in Melbourne. Many balmy Summer’s nights have been spent enjoying fish and chips, indulging in ice cream, and paddling in the Bay shallows with our family. There is also something nice about walking on the beach in winter, with it’s moody skies and glassy water that you know is icy without even venturing close enough to feel it’s spray in the wind. This beanie makes the most of a thick yarn and squishy stitch pattern that is super easy to remember and easy to do without a cable needle - I have provided a video link on how to do this to challenge yourself!
