Life can be so busy these days, there’s always something to do or somewhere to go, and sometimes it’s hard to find time to take a break and relax. We are all busy bees! The Beekeeper Shawl is a lovely project to unwind with at the end of a long day. Worked from the bottom up, the shawl incorporates the pretty honeybee stitch down the centre panel with a simple lace pattern on each side. And that Honeybee stitch is addictive! Watch as yarnovers create strands between the stitches before you swoop in and gather them all to complete your little bees!
A swarm of yarnovers and decreases create a simple lace pattern all over the wings of the shawl which will keep you engaged as you knit your way back to the Honeybees. Wear as a shawl or as a large scarf with the honeybee stitch taking centre stage at the front.
A handy stitch count checklist is provided at the end of the pattern to help you keep track of your progress.
The pattern has been tech edited and test knit and links to video tutorials are provided in the pattern - including how to knit the centre panel honeybee stitch.
