It does not specify a specific yarn weight or hook size. General guidelines are discussed, such as: “Don’t try to use bulky yarn to crochet a sweater for a chihuahua.”

It’s best if you just go take a look whether you like the style of my instructions. It’s based on several measurements that you MUST take from your own dog. Or someone else’s dog that you’re able to measure. You only have to have measurements to go by, and you measure your work as you go, rather than count stitches.
