If you love the look of bobbles, but have always hated the turning that is involved, this scarf is for you! No turning required (until you get to the end of a row, that is).

The stitch pattern gives the scarf a texture that is kind of bumpy, kind of squishy, and sort of funky. Another great feature is that the scarf is totally reversible.

The original design was knit up in a light worsted weight, but options are given for different weights and gauges (from sock to worsted), so feel free to substitute. An option is also given for turning the scarf into a cowl by adding buttons.

Knit lengthwise, you will want to use 24 inch or longer circular needles in the appropriate size for your yarn. Lace points are recommended to help you deal with multiple purl together stitches.
