Cables and pumpkins are the epitome of fall to me! So this pumpkin is a necessary design! It features a cabled braid down one section, with flat knit sections for the others. This helps to showcase the “big braid” that the pumpkin is named for!

It has been tested by some outstanding knitters, who made beautiful pumpkins! This pattern is an intermediate level only due to cabling - you must know how to cable or be willing to learn on your own (there are some great videos on youtube!).

The pattern has instructions for just one size, but there is a note about changing the final size. Height is adjustable based on how many body repeats you choose to do. It is ideal for worsted weight / Medium 4 weight yarns. Required needle sizes (US 8/5 mm) and approximate yardage are specified in the patterns.
