This scarf makes a set paired with The Big Guy Hat. It’s a fast knit on big needles in about 28 rows. The scarf is knit lengthwise in a super bulky weight yarn with a size 11 circular. You’ll need about 200 yards of yarn for a scarf that measures 66” long x 7” wide. The diagonal stitch pattern of knits and purls makes for a textured reversible scarf with no border needed.
Pattern has been tested. A revised copy was added on 11/17/2021 clarifying that the crochet cast on is done using your project yarn that is not removed later.
