This is block II of the project the Birds’ Garden.
The pattern has 125 pages and 256 images that will guide you, step by step, in the execution of this project, just as if it were a video, only you will not have to stop it while weaving. The photographs are of good size and resolution so that you can distinguish the details of each round, which facilitates their execution, especially if you are starting in the 3D fabric.
To simplify the reading, it has an index with links that refer directly to the chosen section, without it being necessary to go through pages and pages to resume the work. Although it is in English, it has translation of the abbreviations into Spanish, Turkish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Norwegian and French. This and the 256 images will allow you to do it whatever your language.
The pattern also has a link to consult doubts and the format allows you to add notes and highlight text in a very friendly way.
The Bird Garden is a project of three blocks: two cushions and the extension for a blanket that can be made using any of the above patterns. This is the second block.
In this block, as in the previous one, I have used some tunisian crochet techniques to add more volume to the fabric, but no special crochet is required.
The size after blocking is 50x50 cm/15x15”. The model is made with Stylecraft Special DK yarn. It can be made with Sheepjes Colour Crafter as both yarns have the same gauge and elasticity. Also, equivalent is Studio Essential by Deramores, and Astra by Patons
