The Black Spur Beanie
The Black Spur beanie was inspired by where I found some lovely Malabrigo Rasta yarns - in a little yarn shop in Healesville, Victoria. During my trip up to the Yarra Valley region, we took a drive down the ‘Black Spur’ - a journey that weaves through the rainforest with twists and hairpins, climbing through the ferns and mountain ash trees to Marysville. I designed this beanie, inspired by the road’s combination of sharp turns and short straights, to remind me of this lovely part of Victoria.
