About the pattern
The Blacksmith’s cowl is designed in memory of my Grandad who was a talented blacksmith for many years. The small circle cable stitch creates a structure similar to forged ironwork lattice. The cowl is knit in the round beginning with a 2x2 rib and continuing with a small circle cable stitch pattern in between a panel of stocking stitch.
