The Blair Atholl Blanket
This a blanket designed specifically to represent the stunning natural colours of highland Scotland. It uses the Interlocking Block Stitch which gives a warm tweedy effect and blends the colours like a painting.
The ever changing rows of colour depict different aspects of the landscape, and the crocheter is taken on a virtual walk through the hills and glens of Scotland with my story behind the colours for each section.
The border is a double Envelope Border which contains the hundreds of ends without the need to sew them in.
The pattern is given for a large throw size, but there is a chart for other sizes too.
Three very detailed video tutorials are included and can be found through links in the pattern.
