Using the waistcoat stitch and precise color changes, you will be able to crochet a beautiful faded hat!

The Blend Crochet Hat is perfect for beautiful hand dyed, speckled and variagated yarns. I used 100% alpaca worsted yarn that I dyed for the hat pictured. Solid colors will give you a striped effect. You will need 5 colors to achieve the faded look. You don’t need a lot of each color, so this makes a great scrap yarn project!
