Stay warm in the chilly fall air with this beanie! This pattern uses large, textured stitches that are fun to make and work up quickly. The texture provides enough interest to make this hat with a single color, but using multiple colors can give you more vibrant look. Size 5 bulky yarn keeps it feeling warm, and using an 8mm hook makes the stitches tight to keep the air out of those big holes . This pattern includes instructions for sizes baby to adult large.
Supplies:
125-150 yards bulky (CYC 5) yarn, samples: Lion Brand Yarn Hue +Me OR for multiple colors: color A: 75-100 yds, color B: 25-50 yds, color C: 25-50 yds
crochet hook US size L (8 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
tapestry sewing needle
scissors and measuring tape/gauge ruler
pom and button to make it removable (optional)

Finished hat circumference: baby 15 inches, toddler 16 inches, child 18.5 inches, teen 20 inches, medium 21 inches, large 22 inches
Sizes are marked with parentheses (baby {toddler, child} ) and stitch counts are marked at the end of each row in brackets baby {toddler, child}.
