!This is a crochet pattern and not a physical product!

The pattern includes instructions on how to crochet a Bonnet fitting 5 different sizes.. It is constructed in a way that it includes minimal sewing by working the main body of the bonnet in one piece and then adding the brim and the straps. The pattern uses common crochet techniques like single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet as well as the so called Bobble stitch, which I will explain in detail in this pattern.

The Bobble Bonnet can be made in 5 different sizes. The instructions in the written pattern are for a smaller adult size. Instructions for baby-, toddler-, child- or a bigger adult size are written in brackets, coded with colours.
The Sizes are based on the following head circumferences:
Baby = 35,5 - 40,5cm, Toddler = 40,5 - 46cm, Child = 45,5 - 51cm, Adult small = 53 - 58,5cm, Adult big = 56 - 61cm

What you will need: a 5mm crochet hook, about 100g-150g of aran weight wool yarn or any kind of yarn that matches the gauge, depending on the size of the Bonnet, 1 stitch marker (If you don’t own any stitch markers - bobby pins, paperclips or just pieces of yarn in a different colour are working as well) and a darning needle.
