The Bobble Stitch Flower Motif
The video tutorial is available here.
19 motifs are displayed above to demonstrate how they look joined. Make whatever you like!
This bobble stitch flower motif was inspired by me trying to learn tatting, messing up the stitch counts while tatting, and then deciding to make a crochet design instead.
Any hook and yarn size can be used, for the example pictures I used size 10 thread with a 1.5mm crochet hook. The PDF includes a chart and a written pattern, the chart has alternating yellow and blue rows.
Difficulty: 2.5/5, medium-ish.
Stitches and abbreviations used:
Yo, yarn over
Slp st, slip stitch
Ch, chain
Sc, single crochet
Fpdc, front-post double crochet
5-dc cluster/ bobble, yo, insert your hook into the loop, yo, pull through, yo pull through 2 5 times. Yo pull through all loops on hook.
Materials needed:
-
Yarn or thread and the suitable hook size for that thread.
-
Yarn needle.
