The Bolton Beanie
This super thick & warm unisex beanie is worked in the round from
the bottom up & is made up of an alternating stitch combination which make up the tight ribbed texture. Although entirely crochet, the stitch combination creates a 1x1 ribbing that gives a look quite similar to knitting! It’s the perfect hat to keep any head warm on a harsh winter day, customizable to your unique size & style!
4 sizing options are included, but these pattern is easily customized to fit different sizes & styles!
What you’ll need:
• 2 skeins of Lion Brand Heartland (beanie: Great Smoky Mountains colorway, slouchy: Joshua Tree colorway)
• Crochet hook sized I-9/5.5mm
• Ruler or tape measure
• Tapestry needle to weave in ends
• Optional: stitch marker/progress keeper
• Optional: yarn or faux fur pom pom & leather/wood tag (pictured are my own, made by myself)
or another acrylic yarn in a worsted/4 weight. Depending on size/style, yarn amount requirement will vary, but I was able to complete each with about 1.5 of the Heartland skeins, which were 251 yards/142 grams
