Welcome to my first ever garment design! A classic, ribbed tank that can be worn all summer long. With the ribbed texture, the end product gives you a naturally fitted shirt that compliments any body type. It wears a double V-neck and V-back for a symmetrical feel, and the straps are just wide enough so that your bra straps won’t show (which is one of my pet peeves)! Wear this to the bonfire at the beach, or throw a flannel over it and wear it to that annual autumn bonfire in your friend’s backyard. I hope this becomes your favorite knit tank top, just like it is mine.
Happy knitting everyone!

Must know how to:
Knit
Purl
Sl
RDEC – Single Right-Slanting Decrease. Knit 1 stitch, slip 1 stitch knitwise. Return the same slipped stitch to your left needle (keeping it twisted). Return the knitted stitch to your left needle. Pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch and off the left needle. Slip the knitted stitch purlwise back to your right needle.
SSK – Single Left-Slanting Decrease. Slip 1 stitch knitwise, slip another stitch knitwise (from your left needle to the right needle). Insert your left needle into the fronts of these 2 slipped stitches, and knit them together.
I-Cord - Slide all of your sts across your circular needles to the other side, pull your working yarn tightly across the back and knit across row. To get a better visual, here is a great YouTube tutorial by IKnitWithCatFur on how to knit an I-Cord: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ng4b3soDNGk&t=39s
