The Braided Socks
This sock pattern uses latvian braids and braid stitch patterning to complete the band down the front of the foot. A heel flap technique ensures a good fit.
The small size begins with a 64 st circumference, as the braid holds firm.
You will need a small cable needle to achieve the braid stitch section. (I used a dpn)
I chose “frogstomp” by nana cindy as the stunning colour had enough green variance to make the stitches pop. I would recomend choosing a skein that has tonal difference, but not different colours, otherwise the stitch definition will get lost.
