The baby blanket is made of granny squares that have basic shapes in the center. The squares are easily customized, through your yarn and color choices, for a boy or girl. Included with the blanket pattern are instructions for a coordinating hat.

The pattern includes a stitch diagram for each square and sections of the hat. Written instructions for both projects and step-by-step instructions for all special stitches and techniques.
