The Breeze Sweater begins to be created from the top, working its way down. Initially, the back yoke is carefully knit in the pattern, using shortened rows to form the shoulders. Subsequently, each shoulder undergoes individual attention, alternating between front and back stitches and integrating short rows for shaping. These shoulders are then unified to fashion the front yoke. The convergence of the front and back yokes at the underarms initiates the formation of the torso, which is meticulously crafted in the round using a circular needle. The sleeves emerge from stitches meticulously picked up and knitted along the armhole apertures, progressing seamlessly in the round. And finally we knit the neckline by alternating facing and backstitching.
Prior to embarking on this creative journey, it’s recommended to knit a swatch to ascertain if the suggested needle size yields the desired gauge.
