This pattern does not actually appear in the January-February 2010 issue of Piecework but is the subject of a featured article about the stocking. The pattern is directly available from Jacqueline Fee who lists a contact address in the article. Her contemporary pattern for socks based on these stockings follows the same article.

A note about the yarn: The pattern calls for “Bartlett Sport weight 2 ply wool” in Oatmeal. This yarn, on the electronic choices above, automatically appears as a 5 ply but the designer specifies a “2 ply” yarn which is why 2 ply appears in the “Yarn weight” box above.
