The Brick Cardigan
This is a cardigan that I designed for newborns all the way up to eight-year-olds. I really wanted this to be textured and dense, so that it’s not only super warm and cozy, but also very elegant.
The most interesting aspect of this cardigan is the original stitch pattern I designed specifically for it. You’ll find that this unique stitch is somewhat unconventional in where you need to insert your hook to create the stitches. So unless you’re an adventurous crocheter who loves a challenge, check out the “Brick Stitch Tutorial” on my Youtube channel before the purchase.
I used a soft, high-quality yarn that’s a pleasure to work with and also gentle on the child’s skin, choosing a color that’s suitable for both boys and girls.
