The Brioche Headband is a perfect pattern to use up leftover chunky weight yarn. It can be made with one color for a solid look, or 2 colors which would make the headband fully reversible. This is a great pattern for those who are just learning how to knit with the brioche stitch, especially for how small and quick the pattern is to knit.

Currently I only show one size offered in the video. If I make other sizes or other weights of yarn, I will add those instructions to the description box of the video. If you don’t want to watch the video, the written instructions for this size/gauge is already available there.

The size in the video measures a circumference of 16” un-stretched. My head circumference is 22”, therefore it is intended to have a negative ease of 6”.

I made my sample using 25g of two different yarns, so 50g total. You will also need US size 9 needles, a stitch marker, and a darning needle to weave in the ends.
