These cute bunnies are a quick and easy knit, designed along the lines of an egg cosy but as a softie. They would make a lovely Easter gift along with the chocolate eggs!

Make your own family of bunnies using yarn left over from other projects - which is what I did!

They are freestanding on a garter stitch base with a stocking/stockinette stitch body. The eyes are added using either duplicate stitch, beads as you knit or buttons, the nose is embroidered using three small straight stitches and the ears are knit separately in garter stitch and sewn on upon completion.

The bunnies are knit flat on two needles with one seam at the back and base.

The pattern is written for one size, the bunny size changes depending on your choice of yarn - I suggest you use needles approximately two sizes smaller than suggested by the yarn company so that the toy stuffing does not show through your finished fabric. The last couple of pattern pages need not be printed as they give information regarding the yarns I used and are not part of the pattern instructions.
