Dreadlock hats/tams are quite popular! I’ve designed this pattern to produce a very comfortable tam that can hold its shape really well even with lots of wear, in addition to accommodating a wide variety of dreadlock lengths and thicknesses. This is a super roomy hat! I also wanted to add a special touch to make this tam really stand out so I created a section of stitches near the bottom of the hat that has a really neat blended color ribbing effect. I am happy to help if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out. I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I did! Have fun!
