The Cabana Club Top
This lovely 1930s inspired pattern is made for a day of summer fun! Because of the backless, sleeveless style, it only takes a fraction of the yardage most garments require, and it’s knit in worsted weight so it’s finished in a jiffy! The negative ease at the bust helps the top stay in place, while the 1x1 rib panel in the back adds extra elasticity around the torso and waist. This style looks great on everyone!
The Cabana Club Top has directions for a cropped and un-cropped version, as well as two styles of halter straps! The stripe pattern keeps things exciting, while the seamed edging adds a bit of a challenge.
I write patterns using a body measurement x gauge system, which means that the pattern is fully tailored to your measurements. If you’ve never done a pattern like this before, the Cabana Club Top is a great first project because it only requires five body measurements!
This pattern is available exclusively on patreon. Come join the fun!
